This Privacy Policy explains how the HLFPPT Ambulance Tracking ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our application operated by authorised supervisors during emergency operations.

1. Information We Collect

In the current version of the app, we collect:

• Employee Identification Data: Name, ID, and attendance status.
• Vehicle Information: Ambulance identification, registration number, and attendance status.
• Device Information: Limited technical data such as IP address and device type for security and performance purposes.
• We do not collect sensitive personal data such as health records or location data in this release.

2. How We Use the Information

• To record and manage the attendance of ambulance staff and vehicles.
• To generate internal operational reports for administrative purposes.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

• We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. Data is only accessible to authorised supervisors and system administrators.

4. Data Security

• We implement standard technical and administrative safeguards to protect your information.

5. Data Retention

• Attendance records are retained for audit and operational purposes for as long as necessary, in compliance with applicable laws.

6. Your Rights

• As a user operating the app under official supervision, you may contact the system administrator to access or correct attendance records related to your ambulance or team.

7. Changes to This Policy

• We may update this Privacy Policy as features evolve. Any changes will be communicated through the app.

App permissions: 

• INTERNET 
  This permission is required to access the internet for network communication and to check the device’s network status. 
• ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION 
  This permission is required to access the device’s approximate location by using Wi-Fi and network sources to determine the user’s current location. 
• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION 
  This permission is required to access the device’s precise location using GPS, allowing the app to accurately determine the user’s location when mark their attendance. 
• ACCESS_WIFI_STATE 
  This permission is required to check the network status by allowing the app to view Wi-Fi network information and connection status.  
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE 
  This permission is required to access external storage in order to select a photo or image when the user mark their profile. 
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE 
  This permission is required to grant access for writing files to external storage (deprecated on Android 10 and above). 
• ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY 
  Allows the app to modify the device’s Do Not Disturb settings, enabling it to programmatically change notification interruptions and related behaviours. 
• CAMERA 
  This permission is required to allow the app to access the device’s camera for capturing a photo when the user mark their attendance.
